What this is
ServDog is a private registry. It is not a government agency, is not affiliated with any provincial program, the Canadian Transportation Agency, or the ADA, and registration does not create or confer any legal rights. Registration is not required anywhere in Canada.

The hardest part of a complaint is the blank page, three days later, when you can no longer remember exactly what was said.
Tell ServDog what happened and where, and the letter comes back written: your dog’s name and registration number, the classification you recorded, the tasks you have on file, the date and the place — set out against the rule that applies in your province. Then it tells you where to send it, and by when.

It is a letter you send in your own name, not legal advice, and no letter obliges anyone to do anything. What it does is put your record and the rule in front of the person who can fix it, on the day you still have the energy to write.

The refund page is one page, in plain language.
The digital card
The card is delivered the moment you pay, so there is nothing to send back. If it doesn’t work, we fix it or refund it. If you simply don’t want it, tell us within thirty days and we refund it — that one runs on trust.
The engraved tag
The tag is made and engraved for your dog, so it is not refundable. On the bundle the thirty days cover the card — that is $49.95 back, and the tag is yours. If a tag arrives damaged or wrong, we replace it.

Four things we will always tell you
Because a registry that will not say them is selling you something else.
Registration is not required anywhere in Canada. Not by any province, and not by us. What a record does is answer questions.
Nothing we issue conveys a legal right. Your rights come from your province’s law and exist whether or not you have ever heard of us.
There is no national standard. Anyone who tells you their card is “nationally recognized” is describing something that does not exist. Where your province runs a program, apply there.
We do not sell clinician letters. A letter that carries weight comes from a health care professional who knows you. We have never met you and cannot write one.
Questions about the price
Is the free record really free?
Yes, per dog, with no time limit. The registration number, the profile, the Taskbook and the documents cost nothing and always will. We make money when you decide the card is worth having.
Is there a subscription?
No. The card is a one-off price, per dog. Nothing renews, nothing expires, and we do not hold your record hostage to a payment.
I have two dogs.
Each dog has its own record and its own card. The record is free for every dog; the card is $49.95 once for each one you want a card for.
When do the wallet passes arrive?
Not yet, and there is no date. When they ship, the pass appears in your account at no extra cost, because it is the same card in another place.
Can I add the tag later?
When the tag goes on sale, yes. If you already have the card, the tag is the difference in price, shipped free anywhere in Canada.
Does paying change what the card means?
No. A paid card is still a private registry record, and it says so on its face. Paying buys you the object and the letter — never a claim we are not entitled to make.
