What it is not
Four things we will always tell you
Registration is not required anywhere in Canada.Not by any province, and not by us. What a record does is answer questions.
Nothing we issue conveys a legal right.Your rights come from your province's law and exist whether or not you have ever heard of us.
There is no national standard.Anyone who tells you their card is "nationally recognized" is describing something that does not exist. Where your province runs a program, apply there.
We do not sell clinician letters.A letter that carries weight comes from a health care professional who knows you. We have never met you and cannot write one.
Questions
Is this a certificate?
No. A certificate is what Alberta, British Columbia and Nova Scotia issue after assessing a team. This is a registration card: a record you keep, showing what you have recorded and what you have chosen to show. If your province issues a certificate, carry both.
Does it get my dog into places?
No card from anyone does. Your province's law decides that, and it applies whether or not you have ever heard of us. What the card does is answer the question at the door before it becomes an argument — what the dog is, and what it's trained to do.
Will an airline accept it?
Airlines may ask for a document from the organisation that trained your dog. Ours is not that document, and we say so. What your record does hold is every answer the airline's form asks for.
What if I change something?
Change a task, a photo or the classification in your account and the card updates — a new PDF or image is a click away. The registration number never changes.
Can I get a refund?
The card is delivered the moment you pay, so there is nothing to send back. If it does not work, we fix it or refund it. If you simply do not want it, tell us within 30 days and we refund it — that one runs on trust.
I have two dogs.
Each dog has its own record and its own card. The record is free for every dog; the card is a one-off purchase per dog.
